Look at me

People today have access to a camera through their Smartphones and share their activity with social media and friends. One part of this is taking selfies.

In this photo series I have documented people in Oslo taking various selfie poses. The most interesting to me is the facial expressions they use, how they present themselves in social media, and how they want to be seen. It may seem like this generation is more interested in documenting what they are doing than being interested in what they do. Rather than appreciate where they are at the moment, they are busy taking selfies, posting, waiting and repeatedly checking their phone for feedback.
